Corissa - Our Centre Manager - Gleneagle kindergarten centre gc

Our Centre Manager
Meet Corissa

I discovered my passion for Early Childhood Education & Care through early experiences. I began as a trainee back in 2002 and gradually moved up from educator to room leader, creating nurturing environments.

I prioritize hands-on learning, nature integration, open-ended play, and fostering emotional intelligence.

Further education and studying my Bachelor of Education, led me to become an Early Childhood teacher, transforming learning spaces into wondrous places. As an Educational Leader, I mentored fellow educators while also gaining insights through motherhood.

Management roles allowed me to oversee daily operations, maintaining high standards. As a Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor, my focus is on learning, growth, and joy for all. I’ve found my joy in close-knit educational settings that prioritize strong connections with families and the community.

I’m dedicated to continuous learning, empowering others, and pursuing further qualifications like Neuro-Linguistic Programming Coaching. My belief is that childhood should be a time for children to explore, play, and learn.

Collaboration and community involvement are integral, and as an Early Childhood professional, I consistently reflect on my practices to promote growth and learning for all.

My approach centers around nurturing children’s curiosity, creativity, and resilience, making childhood a time of wonder and self-discovery.
